A Hermes Birkin handbag sold for $42,500.00 to an unidentified buyer, on eBay.com.
As you will see from looking at the two screen shots of the sale, at the bottom of this post, there are a lot of Hermes handbags for sale on eBay.com.
In the first screen shot, notice that the Hermes Birkin handbag that sold for $42,500 has a green price tag, which means that it sold. The other handbags with the red price tag are items that did not sell.
And notice in the second screen shot the date of sale was September 12, 2008 and although the buyer is unknown we do have information about the seller, createurs*de*luxe, who has a 99.1% positive feedback and has been an member since Apr-12-2001.
